Welcome to Social Navigators, a small group based social skills program. Social Navigators focuses on improving awareness of self and others in social situations to facilitate relationship skills and decision making.

Curriculum

The Social Navigators program is based on concepts from the award winning Social Thinking® program, the CASEL social emotional development framework, and our own experience working with neurodivergent children. The curriculum sequence we use is unique to Leap.

Each week families will receive a home learning plan to continue reinforcing social learning concepts during the week.

Preschool Class

Friends, Fun, and Games

Students in Social Navigators work as a small group. We have direct instruction, play games, and spend time in centers where each small group will receive instruction and real time advice to support their interaction with classmates.
