A group for teens

Social Voyagers is a social skills group for teens. In Social Voyagers we focus on finding our voice, skills for making friends and all those tricky things young teens deal with as a social member of a school or friend group.

Curriculum

The Social Voyagers program is based on concepts from the award winning Social Thinking® program, the CASEL social emotional development framework, and our own experience working with neurodivergent children. The curriculum sequence we use is unique to LEAP.

Home Learning

Each week families will receive a home learning plan to continue reinforcing social learning concepts during the week.

Friends, Fun, and Games

Students in Social Voyagers work as a small group. We have direct instruction, play games, and spend time in conversation where each student will receive instruction and real time advice to support their interaction with classmates.
