Social Scouts is a social skills group based on the award winning WeThinkers curriculum from Social Thinking. Students will play games, meet other kids and learn all about the skills to make new friends and share who they are with the world.
Curriculum
Social Scouts is based on the award winning We Thinkers Series from Social Thinking. Lessons will cover being part of a group, thinking about others, listening, being a flexible thinker and more.
Home Learning
After each week of social skills group you will receive a handout with ideas to continue your child's social learning at home.
Friends, Fun, and Games
Social skills group isn't a class- it's a blast. Members will play games and meet other kids. Students will join in structured play groups under the direction of an SLP who will talk them through the concepts we cover as they occur naturally.
